The first herstory event in General Dąbrowski's Palace in Winna Góra. The theme of the conference was the herstory of organic work, which is reflected in the contemporary activities of women and can inspire to solve current problems.
The starting point was the exchange of experiences between socially engaged women who represent various fields and professions. Members of the Farmer’s Wives’ Association, researchers, educators, entrepreneurs, activists and local government activists, invited to share their experience, presented their own experiences of social, cultural and educational work. They also shared their knowledge about raising funds and cooperation with local government units. An important element of the conference was to emphasize the importance of discovering and incorporating herstory as a narrative that co-creates national identity and inspires the fight for broadly understood social justice.
The event was accompanied by an exhibition of artistic and craft works by local artists from the Śrem Municipality: members of the Farmer’s Wives’ Association and individual artists.
On the second day of the conference, workshops were held for women living locally and willing participants of the ecofeminist conference, during which cosmetic products were made based on plants found in the palace park.
